Events & Activities @ First Presbyterian Church

Below are some descriptions of the events and classes we have available at First Presbyterian Church. 

Sunday Worship & Sunday School Classes

From September through mid-June, our worship services start at 10:30am, with our Sunday School classes for ALL ages meeting at 9:30am each Sunday.  During the summer months, our services are held at 9:30am and our Sunday School classes do not meet. 

We hope you will join us for worship in-person or online via Facebook Live.  

As always, our nursery is open and staffed by two adults every Sunday during our Sunday School hour (for our littlest worshippers ages 2 and under) and for all children in kindergarten and younger during our worship services.

Choir Rehearsals

Our choirs and musical groups are led by our Director of Music, Dr. Chris Thomas, with assistance from our talented church member, Kim Muni. (These groups do not meet or perform during the summer months.) 

Visit our Music Section to learn more about these groups and when the rehearse and perform. If you would like to add your talents to any of our musical groups please call the office. We would love for you to join us! 

Bible Studies &Fellowship

We have ongoing bible studies & fellowship groups that meet regularly throughout the year to grow in their love and understanding of Christ.  Classes for baptism, confirmation & membership are scheduled periodically or as requested, by Pastor Eliza as well.

Committee Meetings

Our leadership boards (and various committees) meet regularly to evaluate current church issues, plan events, ensure that our church building is maintained, and discuss how we can continue to carry the Word of God to those around us. Special Events

Check our calendar below regularly for upcoming special events, including special fellowship gatherings, holiday concerts and events, and fundraisers. 

Village Playbox Performances

The Village Playbox actors and crew feature their fall, winter, and spring performances here at FPCHH in our Social Hall. We encourage you to come and have an entertaining evening while supporting these talented actors.  Performances are listed in our calendar below and more information can be found on their website (click here).
